Day 6 – long ride!

What a beautiful day for a long ride!
Went an hour out and back ~2 hrs total, a bit much of the hill training, but I didn’t want to hit the sunny Saturday traffic in either Bayers Lake, Bedford or Halifax, so I headed out Kearney Lake/Hammonds Plains. Not as scenic as I’d like. Next time I’ll go further, or drive out and ride from Tantallon, hit the beach for a swim (yes, soon! I can’t wait for open water swimming and am generally one of the first in the ocean every season…) Anyway I covered about 47km. Ian was on call and took a call just as I was leaving. Poor sucker stuck at the computer on a beautiful day.
Long run tomorrow, unfortunately I’ll likely be pushing 2 heavy children in the Chariot. 😉
