Great weekend!

So the weekend turned out to be far busier than anticipated. With 8 apartment viewings the planned Running Mania Meet n Greet Sat. nite, then an impromptu mini Meet n Greet Friday night, after I ended up unexpectedly picking up one of the CTRR team-mates at the Halifax airport on my way into the city – with his daughter. I had two friends who live in Western Canada, but were home visiting family in Truro to stop and visit on my way back to NB on Sunday (one was another short-notice addition to the itinerary).

All was good! The drive down went well, with dry roads (I left the rain behind in Fredricton, and hit breaks in the rain alll the way through. I knew I was getting close to “home” when I hit the fog bank at the airport exit, and drove in fog all the way into the city… 🙂 I ran a short run before meet n greet saturday. But got lots more exercise in dancing with all the Maniacs!

I found a wonderful apartment, and am waiting to hear backif I got it. If all goes well, I’ll be moving into a 2 bdrm, 1 1/2 bath, 2 level apt. in Clayton Park in a great location, looking out on trees off of one of two balconies, wiht 5 appliances. The cat can come too!

Once I have my address, I can begin registering the girls for school, and taking care of all the moving preparations.
